Light Stimulator for Sun Sensors OGSE for TVAC

The Light Stimulator for Sun Sensors (LS3) is an Optical Ground Support Equipment (OGSE) designed to support the functional testing and validation of sun sensors using a controlled and stable light source.

Designed for operation under TVAC conditions, the LS3 enables optical stimulation without physical contact with the sensor or spacecraft platform, supporting testing during integration and environmental verification activities.

The system consists of a 19-inch controller supporting up to three optical heads per unit. A PC interface allows users to configure and program test operations, providing a flexible solution for controlled and repeatable sun sensor testing.

With its combination of non-contact operation, TVAC compatibility and programmable multi-head configuration, the LS3 provides a practical OGSE solution for sun sensor testing throughout spacecraft integration and verification.
