High-Precision Attitude Determination

Star Tracker for Micro Satellites -MicroST- of SOLAR MEMS is a high-precision device for attitude determination of Satellites. This sensor captures images of a Star Field with an internal CMOS device and identifies stars and constellations to determine pointing and attitude of the satellite with very high accuracy.

Its robustness is based on highly used COTS devices together with space grade parts, offering a reliable and cost-effective solution for demanding space missions. Additionally, the MicroST is designed as a plug & play system, requiring no additional electronic support or external module for operation.

The modular architecture of the MicroST allows both standalone and multi-camera configurations, making it highly adaptable for a wide range of microsatellite missions in LEO, MEO and GEO environments. Its compact design, high refresh rate, and autonomous operation enable precise Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) capabilities for advanced satellite applications.
